In 2018, the Department of Marathi was set up. The main goal of the department is to help students become better communicators and promoters of the Marathi language in the world today. The department thinks that learning a language gives students the skills they need to be independent as citizens of India in the 21st century. The Marathi department plans the curriculum and extracurricular activities for students to help them grow as whole people through a culture of participation and the use of new technology framework.
